"Maybe there is a void in your life?..."

I over heard someone talking to day to another person about God - It was a great thing to actually over hear. And I was actually blessed to hear it!

This person was sharing their heart with the other person. They are both happily married (not to eachother) have children and couldn't ask for anything more then that... BUT The one person - a believer, a Christian, Says to the other "maybe there is a void in your life - and you are trying to fill it with all this other stuff, and maybe what you really in your life and heart is Jesus..."

WOW! I mean - right there, I was over hearing someone evangelising to another person... it was inspiring. The thing is - the other person is a friend of mine. we talked afterwords - and as this was shared with me I literally got goose bumps all over me. I couldn't help but to smile. Is this person seeing the truth in other peoples lives and is wanting what they have? God?

I know that before I was a Christian I had this HUGE void in my life... and with that void I subsituted it with alcohol, pot, smokes, friends, boyfriends... I just tried my hardest to fill that void and no matter what I did - it couldn't be filled. However, when I met Jesus and had accepted Him into my life I felt complete. This doesn't mean that I didn't struggle with the things that I had listed - I did... and the thing was - even as I struggled, God had really helped me to over come this so that I wouldn't let this block my relationship with Him.

I pray for my friend - that this person would be able to see Jesus in a real way - and would really accept Him in to their heart. Thats my prayer. Not just for this one individual. BUT for all my unsaved friends...

God - Help me be light in the darkness.

More Passion

Last night I was unable to sleep - I think the main reason for that was for having a large double double coffee at like midnight! my bad... Anyways hanging out was heaps fun - and once I got home I just chilled out - I grabbed my guitar and had started to write a song for a friend of mine... I wish I knew how to post songs on here so that I could let you guys hear it... anyways its a good song. I'll probably spend the night trying to figure it out! I was thinking last night of how life is - I mean life can be just so confusing - sometimes life can cause you to have so much heartache and sometimes its hard to even understand why... Funny...

Ok... I was TOTALLY planning on sharing more from my last post. BUT I thought that tonight I would share something on the funny side. You see yesterday I worked from 9-6:30pm... worked an hour and a half over time - it was good though but my feet were totally killin' me... and today I worked an 8 hour shift. My feet were killing me even more tonight - so I had decided to saok my feet - then I decided forget that I'm gonna have a bubble bath. So as I was preparing the water and bubbles my cat - Jessie - decided that it would be fun to play with the bubbles. So she was sitting on the edge of the bathtub and I just watched her then all of a sudden she jumped from the tub to the toilet - and the lid to the seat happend to be up - which its usually down cause I don't want her drinking from the toilet. So anyways - she kinda got a bit wet. She was in the toilet! LOL it was really funny stuff - I don't think she will be jumping from the tub to the toilet for a while... Anyways...
